The dogs in the Adopt a Dog gallery are updated regularly.
The Rescue Shelters work with the various councils to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pound dogs.
The dogs should come to you Desexed & Vaccinated as well as wormed and also heartworm tested when appropriate.
Adopt a Dog lists mainly Toy and Small breeds as well as Seniors, Special Dogs or dogs to be rehomed as Pairs. There is also a section for Working Dogs featuring Kelpies, Border Collies etc.
Dogs Across Australia has created a friendly browser system to help you locate your nearest Rescue Shelter.
