Why a section on little brown dogs?

Like Mini Foxies, they represent a popular type of dog.

Of no particular breed, these little brown—or tan—dogs appear everywhere in pounds. They are usually gracile and petite, well-mannered, and either playful or soulful.

As is to be expected, they make wonderful little companions for all sorts of people: families with children, couples, singles and seniors.

They are never too demanding, but need love and attention, good quality food, and a snug bed and warm clothes in the winter. If you are able to take them walking, they’d appreciate it.

They’re the sort of little dog who will get along with other dogs, and one day you’ll probably want another one, because they’re nice to have around.

So, when you visit the pounds via this website, take a close look—and if you spot a little brown (tan) dog, pick up the phone and save his/her life. You’ll probably be very glad you did.

This particular little brown dog was lucky enough to saved by Monika's Doggie Rescue.
