A real little sweetie, Buster (Tenterfield Terrier)  is friendly and gentle to all.  He loves children and is friendly to dogs to cats.  He is cheerful but not boisterous - he would suit a family with children, or an elderly person. He would be a great choice for a novice dog owner as he is so easy to live with. Buster has basic obedience training, is house-trained with polite indoor manners, and he walks nicely on lead. He sleeps quietly through the night indoors, can use a doggy door and is not a yapper. He's very affectionate and loves to curl up on the couch behind you, or in your lap.

Prince Arthur, a  Maltese X Shih Tzu, is ideally suited to a family and he's excellent with young children. He'll also appreciate another small doggy pal to play with when everyone in the household is at work or school. Prince Arthur's coat is the full grooming type so regular trips to the grooming parlour every 8 weeks will be needed for the rest of his 12-15 life span. Nelson has had a bad life, but is much better now, and has learned that being handled kindly and gently is not so scary after all. He is house-trained well behaved affectionate boy just looking up into your face for love and attention. He would be best suited to a quiet home with no children.

Nelson likes to have a daily brush - actually he loves attention, as much attention as he can get! Nelson enjoys sitting on someone's lap and snoozing.

Tangaranga is a gorgeous little Chihuahua cross weighing in at 3kg. and about 2 years old. She is a very friendly little girl and craves cuddles and attention. Tangaranga has skin condition that is being treated, but can go to a new home whenever someone wants to adopt her, but we would ask that she be bought back to us to have her two injections. The skin condition is not contagious.

Smudge, an Lhasa Apso X, is a happy, lovable, soft and good natured boy who gets along with everyone, including small children and other dogs. Smudge has a puppy-like nature about him. He is house trained and loves to be with his humans so a home where he would left alone for long periods of time is not suitable for this boy. Smudge loves to go walking and as he looks and smiles at everyone, people love the adoring look he gives them as he walks along as he is a very social boy.  Missy and Percy are looking for a home together. Missy is a rare "blue" Chihuahua cross, very small dog, and is very obedient. She is spotlessly toilet trained and likes to go for daily walks. She walks beautifully - no pulling etc. Has spent the last four months with a young family and has learnt to walk the children to school each morning, then pick them up each afternoon (always on a harness!) She has been speyed, microchipped, immunized and wormed,  and we estimate her age to be about 7 to 8 years. Missy and Percy had one owner for the first few years of their lives but unfortunately this elderly lady passed away. Both Percy and Missy were fretting for their owner for a little while. Their new Family bought them out of their sadness and have given them a new lease on life. They are good with older children. They must be placed together.  Chihuahua Rescue Victoria.

Charlie & Gypsy, Male and Female Shih Tzu X Maltese,  were surrendered to the Pound as their owner was going to have a baby. They would love a home together as they are devoted to each other. They would enjoy  a quieter home without small children however older children will be fine or a retired couple looking for a nice ready made family of dogs to love.
