If you have just adopted a pound dog or have bought a dog from shop, newspaper or elsewhere and haven’t sighted his or her vaccination certificate, you will need to discuss this with your vet immediately.
The C3 vaccine is the minimum vaccination your dog needs.

Vaccinating against Kennel Cough is also recommended as puppy pre-schools are unlikely to accept pups that have not been vaccinated.

The best protection you can offer your dog, according to the Australian Veterinary Association, is a full course of C3 vaccinations, then a booster the following year followed by triennial (3 yearly) boosters (unless otherwise indicated).
A yearly Kennel Cough vaccination is recommended by the AVA.
